I think they look great! I love the guy's expression -- his eyes and crossed arms give him such a strong personality. And hers is no less expressive! I love how her body language, with her arms up at her face work with her cute smile and bright eyes to make me hear her going "squeeeeee!" over something cute. XP I think she looks awesome overall -- I like how you drew her figure, her arms are really selling her expression and personality for me, and I love her face.
The coloring is awesome! I love the shine on their hair, hers in particular. I love how the shading is so soft and natural and organic looking, and how it really brings the art to life.
I'm not big on the guy's hairstyle, but I love the doggie's. XD He's so cool, and his face is just like "I'm cute, WHAT'S GOIN' ON OVER HERE? :3"
